Chirag Mehta – Father, Mentor and My Greatest Inspiration (www.chiragmehta.com)

My Father is a Serial Entrepreneur. With his brilliant foresight and risk-taking abilities, he reached many highs in his business career. He conceptualized IceNet, India’s first private Internet Service Provider, taking it to the Numero Uno position and wisely exiting out of the venture by selling to Citibank Group Company, making profits at the right time, before the market would have behaved otherwise. He built IceNet as a brand name which is still big in the retail market today and became popular as a technology innovator and an ISP King in this part of the country. In 2004, he won the Marketing Man of the Year award by the Ahmedabad Management Association.

Today, my Father is involved with Engineering Design services – IceCube Engineers Pvt Limited, using his core expertise and excellent marketing skills to focus on industrial projects across different countries like America, Australia, Indonesia and India.

He shares titles with renowned industrial bodies like the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA), and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), among others.

I see my father as an ideal businessman, a great father and an adorable husband. He has given me a hands-on training on attributes that make a powerful businessman

Nandini Mehta – Mother and My Favorite Companion (www.kadamb.org)

My mother is a renowned Kathak dancer. She teaches this art at Kadamd Academy of Dance. Inspite of her busy schedule, I have always remembered her giving time to her family, showing interest in things we do and doing things with us. She has always been around for me as a comforting listening board or as a companion on many of my expeditions.

I owe her my good values and a healthy mind that have kept me grounded and have instilled in me the passion for carving out something big out of my life.

Love You Mummy...

Friends – God’s Gift to Us

My friends have always held a special place in my life. I feel they have helped me define and refine the person I am. They have given me the comfort of being who I am. I think the best part of having friends is that they accept you the way you are, not expecting you to change to their fancies.
